Welcome to René Graphics Studio. These Terms & Conditions are here to make sure we're both on the same page before we work together.

By accessing this website, booking a service, making a payment, purchasing a digital product, or otherwise working with René Graphics Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms outlined below.

1.SERVICES

René Graphics Studio provides creative services including, but not limited to:

Logo design
Branding and visual identity design
Website design and development
Social media and content graphics
Flyers and promotional graphics
Product labels and packaging designs
Business and marketing materials
À la carte graphic design service
Digital products and resources

All services and final design files are delivered digitally unless otherwise agreed upon before the project begins.

2. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

Your project is not officially booked until the required payment has been received.

For most individual design services, full payment is required before work begins.

Website design and other larger projects may require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your project, with the remaining balance due according to the payment schedule provided at booking. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all outstanding balances must be paid before final files are delivered or a website is launched or transferred.

Payment instructions and accepted payment methods will be provided during checkout, through an invoice, or directly by René Graphics Studio.

Failure to complete a required payment may result in your project being paused, cancelled or withheld until the outstanding balance is paid.

3. REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Due to the custom and digital nature of our work, payments are generally non-refundable once work on a project has begun.

Deposits used to reserve project availability are non-refundable.

If you decide to cancel your project after work has started, you will not be entitled to a refund for work already completed or time already reserved for your project.

Digital products, downloadable files and other instantly accessible digital materials are final sale unless otherwise required by applicable law.

If René Graphics Studio is unable to complete a booked service, any appropriate refund or alternative arrangement will be discussed directly with the client based on the work already completed.

4. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

If you have a concern regarding a payment or service, please contact René Graphics Studio first so we have an opportunity to address the issue.

Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may be disputed by providing the applicable payment processor or financial institution with relevant records, including invoices, communications, proof of approval, project files and evidence of services performed.

A payment dispute may result in the immediate suspension of ongoing services and withholding of unfinished or undelivered work while the dispute is being resolved.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection or payment laws.

5. PROJECT TIMELINES

Turnaround times vary depending on the service, complexity of the project and current workload.

Any turnaround time provided is an estimate unless René Graphics Studio specifically agrees to a fixed deadline in writing.

Your timeline begins once:

The required payment has been received;
Your project form has been completed; and
All required content and materials have been submitted.

Delays in sending content, providing feedback, making payments or responding to project communications may result in your completion date being moved.

Website projects generally require a longer production period than individual graphic design services.

6. RUSH PROJECTS

Need something sooner? Rush availability may be offered depending on the current workload.

Rush projects are subject to an additional fee and must be approved by René Graphics Studio before payment.

Paying for rush service provides an expedited turnaround but does not remove the client's responsibility to submit all required information and respond to feedback requests promptly.

7. REVISIONS

The number of revisions included with your project will be stated in the service description, booking information or project agreement.

Revisions are intended for reasonable adjustments to the original design direction.

A request that significantly changes the original concept, content, dimensions, direction or project scope may be considered additional work and may require an additional fee.

Additional revisions beyond the amount included with your service may also be charged separately.

8. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

To keep your project running smoothly, you are responsible for providing all requested information and materials in a timely manner.

This may include:

Correct wording and spelling
High-quality photographs
Logos and brand assets
Brand colors
Product or service information
Website content
Inspiration and creative direction
Login credentials or platform access where required
Timely feedback and approvals

Please review all information carefully before your final design.

René Graphics Studio is not responsible for errors contained in information supplied or approved by the client.

9. CLIENT COMMUNICATION & DELAYS

Communication is an important part of the design process.

If a client becomes unresponsive or fails to provide required materials for an extended period, the project may be placed on hold and removed from the active project schedule.

A new completion date will then depend on current availability.

Projects abandoned for an extended period may require a restart or rebooking fee before work resumes.

10. WEBSITE DESIGN

Clients purchasing website design services are responsible for providing accurate website content, product information, policies, images and any other requested materials unless content creation is specifically included in their package.

Third-party expenses such as website platform subscriptions, domains, apps, plugins, payment-processing fees or other external services are not included unless explicitly stated.

René Graphics Studio cannot guarantee the continued operation, availability or functionality of third-party platforms after the project has been completed.

Once a website has been approved and handed over, changes made by the client or another third party are outside the responsibility of René Graphics Studio unless an ongoing maintenance service has been purchased.

11. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have permission to use any photographs, fonts, logos, graphics, trademarks, written content or other materials they provide for their project.

René Graphics Studio is not responsible for copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property claims arising from materials supplied by a client without proper authorization.

12. OWNERSHIP & DESIGN RIGHTS

Once the project has been paid for in full, the client receives the usage rights applicable to the final approved design as described in their service or project agreement.

Unused concepts, drafts, working files, preliminary designs and design directions that were not selected remain the property of René Graphics Studio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Editable or source files are not automatically included with a project unless specifically stated as part of the purchased service.

René Graphics Studio retains ownership of its own business materials, processes, templates and other pre-existing intellectual property.

13. PORTFOLIO & PROMOTIONAL USE

Unless confidentiality has been agreed upon beforehand, René Graphics Studio may display completed client work for portfolio and promotional purposes.

This may include the René Graphics Studio website, social media, portfolio presentations and other marketing materials.

Sensitive information such as passwords, private client information and confidential business information will not intentionally be displayed.

14. DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Digital products purchased from René Graphics Studio are for the purchaser's permitted personal or business use as stated with the product.

Unless a product specifically includes resale or redistribution rights, you may not:

Resell the product;
Redistribute the files;
Share purchased files with others;
Claim the original product as your own; or
Reproduce the product for resale.

Because digital products can be accessed immediately, purchases are generally final once access or download has been provided, subject to applicable law.

15. RESULTS

René Graphics Studio provides professional creative services designed to support your brand and business.

However, we cannot guarantee specific financial results, sales, website traffic, social media growth, bookings, engagement or other business outcomes resulting from a design, website or digital product.

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, René Graphics Studio will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use of this website, our services, completed designs or third-party platforms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.

17. TERMINATION OF SERVICES

René Graphics Studio reserves the right to end or refuse a project where there is abusive or threatening behavior, repeated failure to make required payments, misuse of our work, fraudulent activity, or a serious breach of these Terms.

Any outstanding amounts for work already completed will remain payable.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These Terms & Conditions may be updated occasionally to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.

The most recent version will always be displayed on this page with its updated date.
